September favorites

Hi guys! I've been away for a very long time, but now I'm back! I've been wanting to write this post for weeks now. I'll make it really short.

When I first saw this product online, I knew I had to have it. I mean, just look at the packaging!
Shaped like a chocolate bar, but vanilla scented. Yummy! It comes in 4 different combinations of shades and it retails for 10,90€ here in Italy. I love the fact that you get two different shades of blush in one box so you can mix and match with other makeup products and styles.

Another product from Kiko that I'm currently obsessed with is one of their foundations. I'm so happy that I finally found the perfect shade for my skin tone which is very pale. I think it's a great value for money considering the price of only 5,90€ for 30ml. It comes in many different shades matching different tones and undertones. A lovely SA helped me pick out this one and we came to conclusion that this one is a perfect match for my skin and it also has a great coverage!

The product on the left is an eyeshadow palette from essence. Since I don't like to experiment with pricey cosmetic products, I decided to try this one out. There are different sets available and this had the exact colors I was looking for. On the back of the packaging are some useful advices about applying and blending. I really liked this palette and I think they can be used both during the day and during the night, you just have to mix and match and see what comes out of it.

The last two products are my favorite perfume at the moment and the body lotion I'm currently using. I was looking for a new perfume for months and I found it, but it was completely random and unexpected. I only tried it out the first time and stuffed the piece of paper I sprayed it on in my bag, but each time I'd open my bag I'd feel that beautiful, fresh scent and I knew I had to go back and get it. Yup, it's the Calvin Klein ck2 unisex perfume.

I didn't really plan to get another body lotion since I don't like to pile up products of same kind, but I was looking for a new face cream and I found this one among other products. When I read it was both for the face and body I immediately knew it was perfect for me. I have a lot of experience with Neutrogena and my feedback is 100% positive. I love their stuff and this product did not disappoint. It doesn't leave greasy traces which is very important to me, plus it doesn't cost much - around 5€.

Please note that I purchased these products by myself or they have been given to me by persons I have a strong relationship with and this post was not sponsored.

Summer essentials

Hi guys, today I'm gonna show you some of my favorite products I like to use during summer :)

(I forgot one product in this pic)

As you may have noticed, there's only one makeup product and that's the bronzer.

These are bronzing pearls from Avon, my absolute must-have of every summer. I only use this product once my skin gets tanned, although it doesn't look so bad on pale skin either. It blends very well and it looks very natural. I'd give it a 9/10.

I'm currently obsessed with Kiko Milano nail polishes. The colors are just amazing!  And they last quite long, although the first 3 (from left to right) should only be applied in one layer as they tend to wrinkle if you apply 2 layers (not cool 👎🏼). I got them on sale (for 50% off, I believe). I'd give those 3 a 7/10 and for the last one (far right), I'd say it's a 8,5/10.

Next product is a hair mask from Garnier. I wanted to try a different mask from Garnier and I was very indecisive, but I finally picked this one. It's very good, it moisturized my hair, but I didn't find it as good as the first one I had (check previous posts). The reason is that my curls weren't as defined as with the first mask. But I still liked this product and I'm giving it a firm 8/10.

Next in line are hair oil and a lip balm. If you love coconut, this is the perfect lip balm for you. It's not very oily and it has a mild coconut scent, just enough for you to be able to smell it throughout the day.
I'm not sure if it's available in Yves Rocher stores since I ordered it from a 'Yves Rocher Lady' for just 1,49€ (I think). I'd give it a 7,5 because it doesn't seem to stay on the lips for a long time.

I purchased this hair oil along with some other Macadamia products and I absolutely love it. I usually put a few drops on my hands and gently apply it onto wet hair and I love the way my hair smells when it gets dry. I primarily use it to moisturize my curls and it really does the job. It gets a 9/10 from me.

My must-haves this year are D&G Light Blue (as every summer in the last few years) and a new product I dared to try out, the body splash from H&M. I went for the watermelon and mango scent and I did not go wrong. I'm so obsessed with this scent that I'm spraying it all over the room, inside the closet and even my bed.  However, it disappears quite quickly, unfortunately. That's why I'm giving it a 6,5/10.

I think I already talked about Light Blue in other posts, so I'll just skip it now. I'm currently looking for some new perfumes I could try, so don't hesitate to leave a comment with your suggestions :)

The last 3 products are for skin care. The one on the left, La Roche-Posay Anthelios (before sun) is a lotion with very high protection (50+). The product on the right, from the same brand, is used after being exposed to sun. Personally, my skin rarely gets sunburned, but I always use this type of products just to keep my skin moisturized and protected. I've seen this lotion 'fixing' burned skin in no time, however, you need to apply it several times a day. Both are paraben-free and you can get them at the pharmacy. Retail price was 40€ altogether.

The self-tanning product in the middle was a huge discovery. It's on the cheap side and as such, I didn't have high expectations, but this product amazed me. It looks very natural, it's very easy to apply it, smells so nice, there are no ugly lines/creases and once it starts to fade/wash out, it still looks very even. Big thumbs up for this product from the German chain store DM. I think it only costs around 3-4€.

Quick reveal

Hi guys, I have an exciting reveal for you (although I already posted a few pics of this item on my IG profile). I got it a couple of weeks ago from the online store "luisaviaroma" for an awesome price.

Here it is:

I've been obsessed with this item for quite a while, but initially I wanted to get it in black with silver HW. I finally spotted it at the previously mentioned website, but it was only available as a pre-order item, which means I'd have to wait for it to arrive for a couple of months. I couldn't wait so I just kept checking other colors and designs on different websites, but ended up getting this cutie. The color is amazing and looks even better in person.
(It's hard to tell, but the hardware is silver)

I managed to find a 10% off deal for luisaviaroma so I saved up a few €€€ (yay!). I'm really happy that I got my hands on this exact item because now I see how boring it is to only have black items in my collection! (Sorry black color fans) The leather is just amazing and right now it's quite stiff and it's hard to insert and remove cards from slots (there are 4 slots and a pocket in the middle). It should get softer with time. I chose caviar leather since it's very durable, but soft. All in all, I see it as a good investment and a good value for money. The only thing that I dislike is the dustbag, it just seems like a very cheap piece of canvas or whatever they used and a very bad drawstring embedded into the poorly stitched bag.

The cardholder also came with the authenticity card and care booklet.

And I almost forgot (as per usual), I was amazed by the fast shipping luisaviaroma provided! I placed an order in the morning and the very next morning I received the item! It took only 24h to receive it with DHL delivery.

I hope you liked this small reveal :)

New in

Hi guys, I have a short post for you today about one of my latest purchases. I was really excited to buy this and I hope you'll like it as much as I did.
Here it is:

I got a gorgeous pair of Kenzo espadrilles directly from their boutique in my city. It's safe to say it was love at first sight because I couldn't stop thinking about them after seeing them online for the first time, I just knew they had to be mine.
They currently retail for 205€ in the EU.
I know, I know, they look a lot like Chanel espadrilles, but to be fair, the differencw between the two isn't so big (I own a few pairs of CC espadrilles as well). I just love the leather on this pair. I mean, just look at it!

It's so soft (although the leather was really stiff and it was quite painful to walk in them, but they have stretched already). Now that the leather has softened up a little bit, they are so comfy, it's almost unreal.

This fashion house is currently offering a wide variety of espadrilles, in different colors, materials and styles. I'm not sure, but I think the lowest price is around 150€ for a pair of canvas espadrilles, which is only a 50€ difference from the leather ones. I personally think it's better to invest in leather shoes, even though some of the canvas designs are pretty cute and hard to resist.

That's it, I hope you liked this post and appreciate me writing it :)

I wanted to remind all of you that many online stores offer discounts/have some products on sale, so keep up with those and you might get these shoes or some other designer piece for a much lower price :)

(I just found out luisaviaroma is having up to 50% off on some items and I saw a couple of Kenzo espadrilles there) 😉

Alma BB

Hi guys, I've got a new post for you on this beautiful Sunday morning! I'll show you what fits in my Alma BB and I'll do a small review. Let's get started:

I purchased this bag in August 2015 on one of my trips. The price at the time was 895€/7800NOK. It comes with a detachable strap (non adjustable) and a lock with 2 keys. The interior is red, although there are some Alma bags in Damier Ebene print with a burgundy interior.

This is a not so nice presentation of what fits in this bag 😂

As you can see, there are some tissues, a snack and a juice box, my LV cles, a small pack of gum, hand sanitizer, lipstick and a pen. Not so many things there, but trust me, you can fit a lot more inside. I almost forgot, my phone fits nicely inside among all those things and there's still some space left so the bag doesn't look bulky once you zip it.

Was this item worth the spent money? Absolutely. It's a perfect everyday bag; you can use it as a small bag when traveling by plane (you can fit your passport and travel documents, as well as your wallet), it's perfect for running some errands, you can use it for special occasions when you dress up, it's just such a versatile bag and it matches so many outfits. I've been using it quite a lot and I've been careful with it so there are still no scratches or signs of wear as the leather trims on Damier Ebene pieces are so durable. It's just such an amazing bag and it still has the same shape as when I purchased it (Alma bags tend to slightly change shape as they get used and they soften up, especially the vernis pieces). I almost forget to mention this bag has a small pocket inside which in my opinion can only serve as a slot for a credit card, ID or anything of that kind. That's also the place where they put the date code and it's quite difficult to see it as the pocket is very tight. This bag is most likely my best purchase so far and I would recommend it to everyone, you won't regret it. Hope you liked this post xoxo

Mini haul

Hi guys, today I'm coming at you with a short review of products I purchased last week from one of the Kiko Milano stores.
I went there to check out their special 3 for 3 offer (buy 3 products, get 3 more for free), so here's what I bought:

This is the product I was most excited about:
This set costed 7,90€

The color is gorgeous (this particular color is called teal 679), but something about this nail polish just isn't right. The instructions on the box say you should apply 2 layers of the nail polish and then apply the top coat, but when I did that, the very next day it all peeled off as if I had a sticker on my nail. It seems to be too heavy, so the next time I applied just one layer before the top coat and so far it looks good. If I had to rate them, I'd give them a 7,5/10.

The next product I purchased was a creamy lipstick with a matching lip liner. Despite being creamy, once applied it becomes matte. It's quite long lasting (the longest I had it on without touching up was just over 5h). The lipstick number is 104 and the lip liner number is 700. They're a perfect match and they are worth the price (the lipstick was 8,90 and the pencil was 2,50€). The lipstick also has a very pleasant scent (reminds of chocolate). I'd give them both a 9,5/10.

Another product I got was a makeup remover. This one was specially created to remove eye and lip products. It's very mild and its scent isn't too strong. It's probably the best makeup remover I've used so far. I'd rate it 9/10.
The price was 5,90€

The last two products are empties - travel size empty bottle and a box, something I always need when I travel, but somehow never managed to get it.

They each costed 1,50€

This is it guys, hope you liked this post :)
